ABOUT
. Compositor . Visual Effects Artist .
My path into the world of visual effects is paved with dinosaur footprints, spaceship wreckage, and the remnants of fantastical battles. After watching Jurassic Park at the tender age of four I was convinced that on some secluded island dinosaurs walked the Earth... and that velociraptors were capable of unlocking doors. After spending a few formative years looking into a career of paleontology, I realized I didn't want to go digging in the desert to find the bones of these ancient creatures; I wanted to help bring them back to life like I saw up on the big screen. To be able to create effects both fantastical and invisible became a passion.

I was born and raised in Atascadero, a small town on the central coast of California. After high school I decided to move to San Francisco to try to turn my passion into a career by attending the Academy of Art University. As an only child I've used my boundless imagination to entertain myself when no other amusement could be found. Twenty years later that childlike activity has become an invaluable skill in my work. I now use it to entertain other with scenes of otherworldly grandeur crafted through visual effects. No matter what task lays in front of me I endeavor to make it the best work I've done.

Along with my work in compositing, I am currently collaborating on a graphic novel as the head story writer. The project is on schedule to debut in the last quarter of 2020.
